SUMMARY:State Teams Championship Qualifier

DESCRIPTION:<p>This year, for the first time, NSW is holding state championships for pl
 ayers in separate divisions based on their rank. The club is going to run t
 wo qualifier sessions on Thursday 20 and 27 August.</p><p>The divisions are
 :</p><ul><li>Under National (National requires 150 masterpoints including 7
 5 red and gold)</li><li>Under Grand (Grand requires 1000 masterpoints inclu
 ding 700 red and gold and 200 gold)</li><li>Open </li></ul><p>These are red
  point events at double the rate of club red points. Teams qualify for the 
 relevant divisions based on each player’s rank on January 1 this year.</p><
 p>Teams must play in both weeks.</p><p>The Club will be supporting this com
 petition by nominating and subsiding one team from each of the three divisi
 ons to play in the Regional Championships on 27 September at SBC. The nomin
 ations will be based on the results of the qualifying sessions. The State F
 inals (online) will be held on 4 - 6 December.</p><p>This is the first oppo
 rtunity for members with a rank below National to participate against peers
