DESCRIPTION:<p>This year, for the first time, NSW is holding state championships for pl
 ayers in separate divisions based on their rank. The club is going to run t
 wo qualifier sessions each with two sections, on Friday afternoons 24 and 3
 1 July:</p><ul><li>Below National (National requires 150 masterpoints inclu
 ding 75 red and gold)</li><li>All-comers (Open and Under Grand divisions)</
 li></ul><p>These are red point events at double the rate of club red points
 . Pairs qualify for the relevant divisions based on each player’s rank on J
 anuary 1 this year.</p><p>These will be 'normal' sessions, IE you do not ne
 ed to be intending to compete in the championships to play.  You do not nee
 d to play in both weeks.</p><p>The Club will be supporting this competition
  by nominating and subsiding one pair from each of the three divisions to p
 lay in the Regional Championships on 26 September. The nominations will be 
 based on the results of the qualifying sessions. The State Finals (online) 
 will be held on 7 and 14 December (TBC).</p><p>This is the first opportunit
 y for members with a rank below National to participate against peers in a
