Our congress was held successfully and enjoyably at our new premises. Congratulations to all the winners and thankyou to the directors, caddy, kitchen helpers, dealers and the TSC and everyone else who helped and brought the delicious morning teas.
And well done to the novices braving their first congress.
Nearly 30 members attended the 4 day Central West Festival and had an enjoyable and successful time. Congratulations to everyone but especially to Sandy Carter and Nerida Gillies, Susan Jensen, Lidy Seysener, Bronwyn Neal and Simon Hunter, Trish Berry and John Simmonds and Vibeke Faurby and Mandy MacDonald who did exceptionally well.
Congratulations to Mike Williams who won the recent U25MP Individual competition with the best 3 scores from 4 sessions.
Congratulations to Sachiko Cathcart and David Farmer who won this event in a very close finish just ahead of Anne Small and Alex Milovanovich.
15 pairs participated over 3 weeks and Alan Bustany directed and Trish Berry was the convenor.
Congratulations to Ado Hardy and Derek Tyms who won the Michael Marks Shield. Second were Jan Chivers and Anne Small followed by Lyn Smith and Vivien Eldridge.
Congratulations to Michael Green and David Rieser who came 6th overall and 1st in the novice section at the Illawarra Bridge Association Swiss Pairs.
Congratulations to Annegrette Kolding and Sachiko Cathcart who won the three day U750MP National All-rounder at the recent Summer Festival of Bridge in Canberra.
Sandy Carter and Nerida Gillies came 4th in the two day U750MPs TBIB Swiss Pairs.
Congratulations to Robin Hall & Pam Crofts who came 22nd and Colin Rose & Stephen Naftel who came 29th in this state-wide event in which we participated recently. You can see the full results here.
